Ruiz Fuentebella is a landscape professional with over a decade of expertise in landscape design and sustainable operations. As the Lead of the Landscape Team for APPS, Ruiz champions a science-based approach to landscape management, ensuring that every project is anchored in sustainability and long-term ecological viability. A strong advocate of biophilic design, he enhances livability and workplace wellness by seamlessly integrating nature into the built environment. In this capacity, he leads the design and operational framework of the Potager Garden, a signature feature across Arthaland developments.
Ruiz applies a unique methodology that aligns aesthetics with functionality by embedding maintenance considerations early into the design process to ensure long-term efficiency. Prior to joining Arthaland, he built a strong foundation in landscape operations, developing deep expertise in the field. He specialized in Landscape Horticulture at the University of the Philippines Los Baños, equipping him with the solid scientific and academic grounding that guides his current work in sustainable landscape design and maintenance.
